Microblading is a technique within the cosmetic tattooing industry (permanent makeup) whereby the technician uses simulated hair strokes inside, around, and in between the clients natural hair which gives the appearance of a fuller eyebrow.  The best candidates for this procedure are clients who have sufficient natural hair so that the simulated hair can blend naturally without the obvious appearance of too many “tiny lines” on your eyebrows.

In our expert opinion, the best results come from a combination of the microblading and microshading techniques where we combine both strategies to better service the clients need.

More information about Microblading and permanent makeup, regardless of which terms you use (permanent cosmetics, microshading, micropigmentation, dermal implantation, microblading/microstroking, eyebrow embroidery, and long-time/long-lasting makeup) can be found on the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professional website: spcp.org

Who is the SPCP?:

This is a professional non-profit organization established in 1990 that sets forth a code of ethics in the cosmetic tattooing industry.  Their growth in the past several decades is a direct result of its professional and legal structure along with the continuing education they offer to ensure high standards in the cosmetic tatooing industry. The SPCP is to cosmetic tatooing what the American Bar Association and the American Medical Association are to attorneys and doctors.  Consumers all over the country refer to their website for accurate information in the cosmetic tattooing industry, and so do we.
